Eden Water Aromatherapy

Scents & Sensibilities

| Pure | Natural | Simple |

Our sense of smell is the most powerful and emotive of all the senses — Perfumers and healers alike have valued the alchemy of plants, these aromatic plants have been used medicinally, cosmetically, and in perfumery throughout history— aromatic fragrances have long been crafted to express emotions, from desire and vitality to power and relaxation.

Aromatherapy enhances wellbeing by utilising natural essential oils, highly concentrated plant extracts known for their therapeutic properties, to engage our senses and influence both mind and body.

Aromatherapy has origins in ancient China, India, and Egypt as a holistic healing practice that enhances wellbeing by utilising natural essential oils, highly concentrated plant extracts known for their therapeutic properties, to engage our senses and influence both mind and body.

At Eden Water we use only therapeutic-grade essential oils and natural extracts—each contributing their unique aromatic signature. Nearly every part of a plant can yield its precious essential oils—highly concentrated, volatile compounds often referred to as the plant’s ‘life blood’. These essential oils are rich in antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-parasitic properties. Their aroma serves nature by attracting insects and animals—and delights humans just the same.

Our focus on more than just aroma, our unique blends are designed to support emotional and physical well-being—uplifting, calming, or invigorating—depending on what you choose. Our natural soaps are infused with up to 3% essential oils blend for a harmonious fragrance and natural therapeutic benefits.  Unlike synthetic, lab-made fragrances, essential oils are natural, potent and costly to produce. For example, it takes approximately 1,200 roses to produce just 1ml of pure rose oil, and about 3 pounds of lavender flowers for just 15ml of lavender oil.

Activation Through Sense of Smell ~ Our sense of smell is directly connected to the brain's emotional centre, allowing certain aromas to influence mood, trigger memories and even create physical responses such as relaxation or increased alertness.

Inhalation Benefits ~ Inhalation is one of the most efficient delivery methods for essential oils. When aromatic molecules enter the respitory system, they travel to the lungs where they can interact with the body's systems. This pathway allows essential oils to influence physiological responses, supporting functions such as respiration, relaxation and emotional regulation

Absorbtion Through Skin ~ Essential oils can be absorbed through the skin due to the small size of their molecules. Once applied, they penetrate the epidermis and travel into the deeper layers of the dermis, where they can interact with surrounding tissues; from there, they are transported around the body.
